Jamie Ball- 2nd Driver Announcement & 2011 Schedule
(White Lightning Motorsports) – December 1, 2010 –
White Lighting Motorsports is pleased to announce that we will be adding a second driver to our team in 2011. The 2011 season will bring two cars to the White Lightning Motorsports stable. My father, Larry Ball Jr will be racing full-time in the 360 division at Knoxville Raceway. Larry Ball Jr raced sprint cars from 1998 to 2006 in both 360 and 410 winged sprint cars. Larry won the prestigious Rookie of the Year Honors in both the 360 and 410 sprint car divisions (1998 & 2001) at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, IA. Larry will be primarily running the 360 division at Knoxville Raceway.
My plans for the 2011 season are to race the full twelve race schedule in the 305 division at the famed Knoxville Raceway in hopes of contending for the 305 Points Championship. When the 305 division is not running, White Lighting Motorsports will field a second 360 car at the Knoxville Raceway for me. When we are not racing at Knoxville Raceway I will be running the 360 at tracks throughout the Midwest. We plan to travel up to five hours away from our hometown to run with organizations such as; ASCS, WOW & Sprint Invaders. I will be looking at racing approximately fifty races between 305 and 360 competitions in 2011.
We are currently in the process of preparing for the 2011 season. We will be working on new t-shirt designs and a new car design very soon. Once they are done they will be posted on my site. Stay tuned to www.jamieball.com for updated photos, schedules and news.
